If you can stand the 60 or so steps you will be richly rewarded with what I think are some of the best views in the world. now the bad part ——– they have absolutely – positively —- the very very very worst coffee I or my wife have every had- must have been the water because you could not possibly sell that coffee. STRANGELY their cappuccino was above average. Breakfast on the terrace was super. We left our french doors open the last day like waking up in heaven

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Casa Albertina Hotel and it was excellent. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean ( as was the hotel itself ) and it offers spectacular views across Positano and further along the Amalfi coastline. ( A great way to enjoy your breakfast !)
The staff too are excellent – very friendly & helpful (and strong enough to carry our bags !).
The one issue to be aware of is that, like most things in Positano, you need to be ready for a climb – this hotel is 60 steps up – but please don’t be put off – you will be rewarded for your effort.
Also, at the foot of the steps leading up to the hotel there is a truly excellent Italian restaurant – named Vincenza or something similar – probably the best food we experienced on our trip.
If you’re up for the walk, I would highly recommend Casa Albertina to you – we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay there.
Hotel has also a Roof Terrace – Positano @ 330°
